Dutch pop group Stereo Apollo is formed by Jacques Beljaars(drums), Eric Maas (bass guitar), Joost Maltha (vocals), Paul van Weert (guitar) & Leon van Egmond (hammond). Without pretence the band creates an original sound referring to such likes as The Cure, Pavement and contemporary britpop. Effortlessly the songs switch from serious and emotional to self mockery and irony. In 1998 they record their only album 'A Deja Vu Just Passed Me By' which remains unpublished till this day.
