Stoja has a very special extremely strong "hypnotizing" voice, said to come from her father, Milan. She released her first album Kako je meni sada in 1998 for Lazarevic Production. A short time later, the Grand Production label owned by Lepa Brena, signed her, and Stoja quickly became one of the Balkans most popular and respected singers.
