Stosil was founded in 1996 by Silenz (words) and Stone E (beats). Stosil is a dutch alternative rapgroup, often described as Antihop (because of the non-hiphop lyrics). In 1998 they started the artist collective Geesthuis (Ghosthouse) Entertainment and created ROF Records as record label. They released two albums and three singles on ROF Records. The first two albums have the subtitle 'DarkRapPoetry, chapter 1 and 2'. Stosil changed record labels in 2003 due to distribution issues.
