Strange Tales are an exciting new duo producing electro-tinged artrock curiosities from the darker side of the street, relating baroque cautionary tales of witches and lunatics through skewed melodies and scary skipping rhymes. They are made up of Sally Moriarty on vocals/keyboards/drum programming and bassist Paul Sloots, veteran of the Crawley music scene that spawned goth idols the Cure. Already making waves after playing only a handful of gigs, a live review in Artrocker magazine summed them up thus: “This band’s odd stories fuck with my mind tonight.”
