Supa Dave West is an african-american musician, vocalist, songwriter and producer. The beginning of his musical career started in church playing drums for various groups and choirs. He started professionnaly by doing several gigs around Europe, then came back to the USA playing for Joe and for Faith Evans. Getting tired of the road, he decided to begin producing. While he was still doing gigs, he started working with Dinky Bingham, his mentor. In 1991, his group Hotsauce got a record deal from Elektra Records.
