Suresh Wadkar born In Kolhapur India. A student of Acharya Jialal Vasant. Started singing at the tender age of 10. In 1976, he won the Sur-Singar competition. This helped him gain entry into the Indian Film Industry. His first assignment was the popular song Seene Mein Jalan for the film Gaman (released in 1978). This was followed by the film Paheli (released 1977).
