Born and raised in Vancouver, Canada, Tamara has been performing since a young age. After high school Tamara moved to New York City where she attended the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. Since then, Tamara has studied with cabaret legen Helen Baldassare at The New School University and with the Professional Jazz Division at the Brooklyn-Queens Conservatory of Music. There she majored in Voice and performed with various ensembles from gospel to traditional jazz bands (some of which she even enjoyed playing the sax in!)
