Biography
Ted Heath was a thombonist in Britain's main orchestras and formed his own Big Band and from it's inception his policy was to employ the country's finest musicians,singers and,very importantly, arrangers.
Anybody who loves Big Band music must listen to this one.American fans of this genre must make themselves aware of this great band.The playing is always immaculate and swings like mad.In the 50's visiting American Jazz Greats were knocked out by the band's sound and quality and expressed these feelings in our Music Press.
