Tequila was an Argentine-Spanish rock band, active between 1975 and 1983. The group consisted of Ariel Rot (guitar), Alejo Stivel (voice), Julián Infante (guitar), Felipe Lipe (bass) and Manolo Iglesias (drums). Tequila was one of the most popular bands in the early years of democracy in Spain. Tequila emerged after the fall of the Franco regime, years before la Movida Madrileña days.
