In 2008, longtime collaborators Jim Grundy (Re:Enactment, Subsea) and Greg Reason (Ektoise, Departures) were invited to perform a live score for a silent German Expressionist film at Brisbaneโs prestigious Gallery of Modern Art. Pleased with the results, they proceeded to record, process and rearrange the material they devised for the screening and ended up with a lush, expansious ambient record entitled Alluvium.
