The Cold were a New Wave band formed in 1979 in New Orleans. Their style is similar to Blondie as well as British punk bands of that era. Vance DeGeneres, who is also known as being Ellen DeGenere's brother, played bass. Chris Luckette played drums, Kevin Radecker and Bert Smith guitar and Barbara Menendez was the lead vocalist as well as keyboardist.
