The Cracker Jills, Sweet Adeline's 1957 International Champions, was the first quartet to win top honors without an outside coach. This championship quartet is still known for the significant role it played in development of the style and sound of barbershop harmony as we know it today. Acknowledged to be one of the most prominent vocal groups in the history of barbershop-style harmony, the Cracker Jills toured the country for over twenty years with Renee as lead singer and arranger.
