The Direction Called Down is an experimental avant-garde emo band formed in late 2006/early 2007. They began writing and recording music in this time period, with plans to make a full length album. However, they were put on an indefinite hiatus following a general lack of interest on the members' parts, and the project seemed to be put to rest with five song released, one of them a minor single ("I Think I Left the Oven On (Or Was It Hulk Hogan!!!")
