The Discards are an indie folk-pop duo from the New England, Australia. In November 2006, Stuart picked up a guitar for the first time. A crappy 5 steel string, one nylon string guitar that had been sitting in his Dad’s closet for 15 years. The week after that, he wrote his first song and at that point, Mick decided they should start a band.
