The Human Genome Project (2001-2007) was founded by 3 members, Jairus Smith (guitars, vocals), Christopher Dolan (keys, vocals), and Amoree Lovell (keys, vocals), in 2002 in Portland, OR. All hailed from Lincoln, NE and were a part of the Prids's exodus from Nebraska in 2001. The early incarnation of the band stayed a three piece until they recruited drummer Cedric Justice in 2006.
