“Charlie Boy” details the life of lead singer Wesley Schultz’s uncle, Charles Schultz, who was killed in the Vietnam War. Charles, or Charlie, was born in 1944 and was the first born of four sons, one of which was Wesley’s father. The family lived in Metuchen, NJ. Charlie identified with the Democrat ideology of the time and was a supporter of John F.
