Kiryk Drewinski’s frantic lead-guitar parts so often achieve the electricity of Quicksilver Messenger Service’s John Cippolina’s shimmering tremeloed Gibson SG whilst the interplay of Erik Haegert’s lead vocals and his ear-piercing, nimble fingered organ playing along with Kiryk’s supporting harmony recall the sheer class of HP Lovecraft. Yet, when the mood strikes they’re not adverse to two-note fuzz and holler, or stomping R&B.
