There are at least two bands using this name. 1. The cult British funk and jazz band of the 1960s made up of moonlighting London session musicians fronted by the legendary Hammond organist Alan Hawkshaw. The project was the clever idea of some guy at KPM music in the 60's who decided to release a bunch of incredibly groovy and funky library music tracks and package it under the name "The Mohawks".
