The Olive Branch were a short-lived, Sydney based indie pop band, fronted by Tim Freedman of The Whitlams. The band also comprised Nick Freedman (ex-Sunnyboys) on guitar, Andy Lewis (ex-Gadflys) on bass, Paul Jensen and Andy Kell. The band's first CD EP,'Time Flies Over Central', released by Phantom Records in 1993, featured songs co-written with Glen Dormand and Matt Ford of Machine Gun Fellatio.
