The Omagh Community Youth Choir formed in 1998, in the wake of a devastating terrorist bombing in Omagh. Local music student Daryl Simpson, worked together with other music students and musicians: Catholics, Protestants, and other citizens. The choir provided some comfort in those dark days, and quickly became a positive effort, working for peace in Northern Ireland.
