The Poconos was a short-lived Hoboken, NJ band consisting of Mike Appelstein and Tami Heaton, with occasional help from Chris McFarlane on drums. They formed in 1996, played a bunch of shows and recorded some tracks in 1997, and broke up the next year. Jigsaw Records released their only 7", Days Are Getting Shorter, in the spring of 1999.
