The Result were an Alternative Indie Rock band from Dublin, Ireland, composed of Alan Irwin and Michael Wall on Guitars, Shay Ferris on Bass and vocals, and and Tim Nolan on Drums. The band had been increasingly playing concerts and music festivals, and have played in a number of venues across Dublin City, but also further afield in Wexford, Kerry, Galway and Italy.
