Formed in 1980 by singer Randy Dash and drummer Marty Feier, The Seclusions went on to release the 1983 LP Isolation for Creation. Dash and Feier recorded many of the initial tracks at Intergalactic Music with Jimmy Rip on Guitar and Busta Jones on bass. Patti Smith drummer Jay Dee Daugherty eventually joined the core band while Marty Feier moved on to a full time gig with The Verge and eventually toured with Link Wray in 1985.
