Yakuza Slaughter formed right at the breakup of vocalist Amir Jafari's previous band, Festus. With Eric Arso on drums, and Leeor on guitar, the band was once known as "Revel". Sooner later changed to "Embodiment", and then changed to Yakuza Slaughter due to the fact that there already was another much better metal band named Embodiment. The three's influence on technical drift inside music brought upon the startup of a new band.
