Theria is a Finnish heavy metal band from Oulu, Finland. Originally the band played mid-paced groove/thrash-metal oriented music, but their musical direction started to fuse into a melodic death metal/metalcore hybrid. Some of the original members were not pleased with the change of the musical style, so the original guitarist and bassist were replaced with new members in the summer of 2009.
