This is the End was a hard rock band out of Rockford, IL. They gained momentum with high-energy performances and the release of an EP entitled "It's Already Too Late." The members used stage names such as Lincun Guns (keyboards) and Beau Strangles (bass). After a move to Madison, WI, the band broke up when Beau Strangles quit to pursue a career in teaching in Japan. After months, Strangles was replaced and they did perform for a few reunion shows in the Rockford and Madison area.
