Tia Blake recorded only one album, a France only folk release titled "Folk Songs & Ballads: Tia Blake and Her Folk-Group" in a Parisian studio in 1971. It was released that same year in a very small quantity by the tiny label SFP (Societe Francaise de Productions Phonographiques). She later graduated from Smith College, in Northampton MA. She went on to work as a freelance writer, and published a few works of her own in the UK magazine Granta. Her debut album (alongside a collection of demo tapes) was reissued in 2011. Four years later, she passed away at the age of 63.
