This is the only album Tiger & the Helix ever released. It was recorded and distributed on their private label, Arcturian Gate in 1994 and promoted in Europe in the mid nineties. The sound is a very driving rock format, full of vocal harmonies and crunching guitar riffs. The only acoustic ballad on the album, "Somewhere Blue" received airplay in Central and Northern Europe, though was never promoted in North America. Tiger & the Helix was a Los Angeles based rock group that formed in the early nineties, fronted by Richard Gannaway (lead vocals , bass), who later founded the acclaimed world music project, Aomusic. The group also featured keyboardist, Jay Oliver, whose other credits include Sheryl Crow, The Eagles, Jimmy Buffett, Wynona Judd, Glenn Frey, Peabo Bryson, Chick Corea and Dave Weckl.
