Tiny Ruins and a Singer of songs . A Singer of Songs lived in Barcelona while Tiny Ruins lived in New Zealand. The two knew each other through their music, but had not met. This all changed in the June of 2010, when they embarked on a small and noble tour of northern Spain. One hospital visit, one birthday cake, several piggy-back rides, a couple of tequilas and thousands of wrong turns later, and they’d recorded six songs during one week, in one room of one charming old apartment in Barcelona. Wrapped up in these songs is the distance covered, warmth and camaraderie that characterized these times.
