To Kill A Day are based in and around the Dunfermline area. A few local bands (Asphyxia, Until September, insignus) split up in the autmn of 2004, due to members leaving to go to university. A few of the remaining members decided to get together. Formed in April 2005, the band began writing original material, each member bringing their own style to the group.
