Trasch formed in Wellington during the tail-end of the eighties, becoming arguably the first New Zealand band to create muscular industrial/EBM in the vein of Front 242 and Front Line Assembly. Comprised of Evan Roberts, Myke Young, and frontman Arthur Tauhore, the trio released two albums before the death of Tauhore in November 1994 brought the group to an end.
