The song is named after the roller coaster Colossus at Six Flags Magic Mountain in Valencia, California. This is Tyler’s take on dealing with a crazed fan – essentially his version of Eminem’s “Stan”. That said, comparisons to Eminem’s classic draw Tyler’s ire. Regardless, he did go on to state they are both good songs. It’s based on a true story too.
