Urban Planning is a noise band formed in 2008, initially by Jonathan Jeweler, Eliot Gardepe, Evan Feenstra, and Alex Porten. Since then the group has seen the addition of Roger Goodman. The band is part of the Rainbow Destroyer art and music collective out of Claremont, California. Urban Planning has gone from highly electronic based noise textures in their first two albums to recording onto tape cassettes and the use of analog instruments in their later albums.
