Vigilante was the end of an era, not just for Vardis but also for music production. 1985 saw the advent of a digital revolution, and sound would never be recorded in the same way again. The days of big analogue studios were numbered, and this album represents the culmination of recording techniques with a direct lineage to Rock ‘n’ Roll records of the early 1950’s.
