The Crips in that area that Vince was part of, the Naughty Nasty Gangsta Crips (2NGC), wear Yankee hats as an identifier to their allegiance. This interlude has a similar feeling to both “Ramona Park Legend pt. 1” and “Ramona Park Legend pt. 2,” which are both openers on Staples' double album debut, Summertime ‘06.
