Recorded in the backwoods of Montana, Flaming Forest may be Wasted Elks most varied record. The album consists of techno beats in songs such as "Sixteen Levels Above Bedrock" and "Bolt The Titan," and also drum beats with altered vocals in songs such as "Pike The Pikachu" and "Soft Mints." Then there are the more scarier tracks on the album, "Why Are There Amish People Outside My Window" and "Tight Squeeze." Flaming Mongoose Records was really impressed with this release, and is excited for their third album.
