We Beat The System are a Sunderland based five piece band who formed in July 2009. Aged between 15 and 16, they are a young band with lots of potential, already proven when they were tagged as the UK's 'Best Alternative Unsigned Act', and supported Welsh band 'The Automatic' on their recent tour. We Beat The System have an Alternative/Indie Experimental style which has been described as similar to Editors, The Smiths and even being dubbed an early U2.
