“I’m Sorry Boris” is about how, even though the government is ruining London and is making him want to leave, the people he cares about are here and he doesn’t want to leave them behind. This song is also a continuation of “La Jolla”, the previous song on the album. The first verse is a response to “La Jolla’s” first verse as he figured out what can move him, when he didn’t know what could before.
