Wolftekit had been around since the summer of 1999. Before that, the band was known as Pork Chop (formed in 1992), which had more of a punk/funk feel, just straight out raw energy. Pork Chop went through several member changes before calling it quits in early 1998. Marc & Erik were the only remaining members from that band. Beto & Arnold teamed up with them, along with former members Ed (drums) & Ian (vocals) in 1999, making Wolftekit official.
