Yves Castagnet (born 10 May 1964 in Paris) is a French organist. Life: Castagnet began playing the organ at the age of nine. After graduating from high school, he studied with Rolande Falcinelli at the Paris Conservatoire and graduated with five first prizes. After his first stint as Kapellmeister at St. Clotilde, he became titular organist at the choir organ of Notre Dame in 1988. Also in 1988 he won the Grand Prix d'Interpretation at the Chartres Organ Competition. Compositions: Fair Salve Regina Trois Psaumes pour chœur et orgue
