Born in Wolverhampton, UK, Jim began playing bass in his early teens and quickly found himself working on the local music scene. Performing with several different acts in and around the Midands he gained a reputation as a versatile and committed session player and as of 2010 is working with such groups as Wolverhampton based Pink Floyd experience Darkside, the covers band Divine Brothers and most recently Latin/Jazz Drum & Bass band The Torre Bert Quartet.
