jon and the angry flowers is a one-man alternative rock/indie rock band formed in Queens, New York in 2009. The only member is Jon (Guitar/vocals/bass/percussion ) Jon's guitar sound is very similar to the sounds of bands of the early - mid 1990s, featuring heavily distorted guitars into overdriven tube amps and the inverse of that; jangly clean guitars played on amps at really low volume (in other words, he researched the rigs of some people and copied it), however, 15 year olds are usually unable to afford Marshalls, so Jon uses an Epiphone Valve jr.
