Biography
The new wave Baltic folk music revival initiated by some Scandinavian bands simply could not fail to reach Poland. The history and cultural influences these countries share confirms this fact.
Being one of the biggest fans of the Swedish band Hedningarna, Roberto DELIRA Jaworski just couldn't wait any longer to bring these raw, mystical vibrations onto the Polish folk scene. His reconstruction of a "bowed gusli" (an antique Baltic musical instrument from Gdansk) was proof of a common cultural heritage with other Nordic peoples, and served to introduce this unique musical style to Poland. Following on from his main band project called Żywiołak, Roberto began searching for a more archaic sound, which is what he has managed to achieve with "r.D&K".
