She’ll was a grindcore project started by three friends in high school. The name comes from a corruption of “Sheol” after finding out that the name was already taken. With the first few recordings being live from the practice space, later recordings were done with rudimentary home recording set ups with limited knowledge. Lyrical themes range between conceptual stories to expressing the loneliness or self alienation from vocalist Giovanni. Gio and Levi still continue to make music in various projects together and apart in bands such as Internet Hate Machine, Prowule, and Hpp;ddA.
