Biography

Studio 6 Brenquarters, home to the sparkling rekkordings of the GRR early roster, and no where is the magic more evident than the secong the kings burst into existenz. Sure, the O'Leary's album (included here as a bonus) held some promise, but it was here in there Tascam fuelled expeditions that the true potential of the future Golden Sonic was glimpsed. These were early days, but stone cold classics "Tom Cruise Blues" and"The Stars are all Out Tonite" would dot themselves throughout the future of GRR.

Returning from overworlds the Kings reconvened at Studio 6 for an E.P. of traxxs that again would redefine the GRR sound. Sample based hedonism the likes of which left field had scarce imagined. Bowie as maser of reinvention? Don't even go there! Plus added Neil Young Destruction.

But before any or all of that, its earliest incarnation, a biscuit tin, a detuned guitar and a casio hoisted the three oleary brothers Nathan (5), Kieran (16) and 1599 (20) into the world of analogue recording. The O'Leary album included here as a tag on to the wonderful "Royal CD" captures a time of innocent improvisation and would be the only time (so far) all one, two, three O'Leary's would record together for GRR.
