There are two bands named The Shears: 1) Summer 2003 project of former Hurtu members Sam Deutsch, Aidan McEneaney, and C-Mac. Other members included Alex Signorino, Jeff Ziga, and Tim Nelson. They recorded two EPs at Summer Music Programs "¡Swing Pad!" and "Smokin' in the Girls Room." Members went on to Love Athena, Mr. Disco, SWade, and Super River among many other projects. 2) The Shears are an electro dance pop band from Austin, Texas.
