Biography
tripleS (Korean: 트리플에스; Japanese: トリプルS) is a 24-member girl group under MODHAUS. The group creative direction is headed by Jaden Jeong, known as the former creative director of girl group LOONA, MODHAUS’ vision for tripleS involves the creation and subsequent operation of K-pop groups to be community-based, rather than a traditional top-down structure.
The members will rotate between the group, units and solos chosen by the fans. They will present a new ‘dimension’ every season with new concepts. The fans will also be able to participate and communicate with the content of the group.
<ASSEMBLE24> marks the debut of the complete line-up and the first full-length album by tripleS. It was released on May 8, 2024 with "Girls Never Die" serving as the album's title track.

tripleS currently has nine sub-units:
Acid Angel from Asia (AAA), who made their debut on October 28th 2022 with the mini-album "Acid Angel from Asia <ACCESS>" and the title track "Generation," but disbanded on November 21st 2022 as it is a part of their concept. According to Yahoo News, AAA “represents a completely new dance style from the current K-Pop genre.” It is composed of HyeRin, YooYeon, NaKyoung and YuBin.
+(KR)ystal Eyes (KRE), who made their debut on May 4th 2023 with the mini-album "+(KR)ystal Eyes <AESTHETIC>" and the title track "Cherry Talk." KRE’s musical style is described as a "‘traditional’ K-Pop experience with dynamic sounds and flamboyant style." It is composed of SeoYeon, JiWoo, ChaeYeon and SooMin.
Acid Eyes, which is a unit consisting of the members of AAA and KRE. They debuted on July 6th 2023 with the digital single "Acid Eyes <Cherry Gene>" which has three mash-up remixes of "Generation" and "Cherry Talk."
LOVElution, who made their debut on August 17th 2023 with the mini-album "ↀ" or "MUHAN" and the title track "Girls' Capitalism." It is composed of SeoYeon, HyeRin, YuBin, Kaede, DaHyun, Nien, SoHyun and Xinyu.
EVOLution, who made their debut on October 11th 2023 with the mini-album "⟡" or "MUJUK" and the title track "Invincible." It is composed of JiWoo, ChaeYeon, YooYeon, SooMin, NaKyoung, Kotone, YeonJi and Mayu.
NXT, who made their debut on December 23 2023 with the digital single "Just Do It." It is composed of Lynn, JooBin, HaYeon and ShiOn.
Aria, who made their debut on January 15 2024 with the digital single "Aria <Structure of Sadness>" and the title track "Door." It is composed of JiWoo, ChaeYeon, Kaede, DaHyun and Nien.
Glow (Hangul: 글로우) is a non-voted for tripleS sub-unit consisting of the last four revealed members of tripleS. They made their debut with their digital single, "Inner Dance", on June 21, 2024.The lineup consists of Kim ChaeWon, Sullin, SeoAh, and JiYeon.
Visionary Vision is tripleS' eighth sub-unit, and the first dance-orientated unit. They made their debut with the full album, Performante, and the title track, “Hit the Floor”, on October 23, 2024. The lineup consists of Jeong HyeRin, Kim YooYeon, Kim NaKyoung, Gong YuBin, Kaede, Kotone, Kwak YeonJi, Nien, Park SoHyun, Xinyu, Lynn and JiYeon.
∞! (Hangul: 핫찌, Japanese: ハッチ; pronounced: Hatchi, meaning "Eight") is the first tripleS Japanese sub-unit. They made their debut on November 20, 2024 with the mini-album, "tripleS+∞!+<アンタイトル>" , and the title track “アンタイトル” or "Untitled" . As the unit has no fixed members, lineups will change every year. Currently, the first lineup consists of Lee JiWoo, Kim ChaeYeon, Kim YooYeon, Kim SooMin, Kotone, Mayu, Park ShiOn and Kim ChaeWon.
On January 23, the group posted a schedule announcing a series of votes that would lead fans to choose which song would become the title track of their upcoming full-group album, <ASSEMBLE25>.
On February 2, the group announced that their second instrumental album 4study4work4inst Vol.2 would be released later that same day
On April 4, it was announced that the group will release Japanese digital singles "Girls Never Die - Japanese version" and "Rising - Japanese version" on April 12.
On January 20, the new Grand Gravity called ASSEMBLE25 Title Track Grand Gravity was officially announced with the title album <ASSEMBLE25> as their first comeback as full group with 24-members.It was released on May 12, 2025 with “깨어 (Are You Alive)”, serving as the album's lead single.
COSMO the gate:tripleS are the first group in K-pop to utilise blockchain technology as a means to select various aspects of their group, including musical output, unit lineups etc. This is through the use of 'objekts,' which are NFTs, but exist on the Polygon blockchain which is carbon neutral. This is different than C2X NFT, which operates on the XPLA blockchain and has no sustainability policy at all. With objekts, fans are able to participate in voting processes called 'Gravity.' Each objekt generates one voting token called 'COMO.' For example, in the first Gravity, which took place from September 21-25, 2022, 10,774 COMO were used by roughly 8,000 NFT holders. This decided the lineups for the members of AAA and KRE. Gravities, COMO and objekts all operate on MODHAUS' app, 'cosmo.'
