Light Bearer is every bit as good as I expected it to be and yet I'm still struggling to appreciate it as much as I know I should. Putting it down to my temperamental music taste being an annoying arse. Hopefully seeing them on Friday anyway.

well you clearly picked the wrong songs cos blakfish are amazing. Just listen to the See You In Another City EP and then listen to it again, and again, and again until you like it lol. Oh also cosmonaut i think &U&I are a lot more schizo than blakfish, blakfish pull off their craziness a lot better i think &U&I try n be complicated just for the sake of it imo. Especially in Chancers Paradise.

Blakfish rule man, but I can see why someone who listened to &U&I first might not find them as appealing since the former were a hell of a lot more schizophrenic.

I like the EP a lot, but having listened to some Blakfish I can say they were totally different and I don't find them anywhere as good. Either that or I picked the wrong songs.

funnily enough, they have an image on their facebook holding up boards saying and showing 'mean', a side-profile silhouette of a woman and 'tonight'. for ages i thought it was just saying 'mean tonight', and then i clocked it was a silhouette in the middle. felt very silly!

Mean makes more sense. I thought they were saying meat.

It is baffling how Blakfish aren't in the similar artists. I was under the impression that only Blakfish fans listened to them so far.
