Cut Copy是一支来澳大利亚墨尔本的Synth Pop乐队，乐队由Dan Whitford (lead vocals/keys/guitar), Tim Hoey (bass/guitar) and Mitchell Scott (drums)三人组成，签约于悉尼Modular唱片公司。早期成员Bennett Foddy因求学2004年中旬离开。 他们的音乐具有很多的现代元素，乐队受80年代New Wave和Post-punk风格，以及像New Order，Kraftwerk，Electric Light Orchestra这样的老乐队影响比较多。他们的歌曲具有电子舞曲风。 在2001年，作为个人作品，Dan Whitford在Modular Recordings发布了单曲“1981”和EP“I Thought Of Numbers”。直到2003年Tim Hoey,Mitchell Scott,和Bennett Foddy被招募到来后，Cut Copy乐队才真正意义上成立了。 在2004年，发布了第一张唱片Bright Like Neon Love，2005年乐队在伦敦，纽约和洛杉矶与Franz Ferdinand, Junior Senior,TV on the Radio,Bloc Party,Pretty Girls Make Graves,Mylo等艺人一… 了解更多
