Guano Apes是一支来自德国的另类摇滚组合。其能量摇滚混合方式（大多数时候被称为crossover） 从rap到funky，从melodic到hardcore screaming，他们的主唱Sandra Nasic使他们成为最成功的德国摇滚乐队之一。 Guano Apes形成于1994年在德国göttingen，由吉他手Henning Rümenapp，贝司Stefan Ude和鼓手Dennis Poschwatta。主唱歌手Sandra Nasic后来加入乐队。他们录了3盘demo音带，但其职业生涯真正开始于1996年之后，赢得了当地为未签约乐队举办的一个比赛。他们用这笔奖金来录制他们的第一张单曲"Open your eyes" ，并录制MTV。这首歌也成为他们的首支单曲，并随后在1997年发行他们的首张个人专辑Proud Like a God。然后在2000年和2003年分别发行两张专辑Don't Give Me Names和Walking on a Thin Line。在专辑Walking On A Thin Line的宣传之旅之后，乐队决定休息调整。一年后，在2005年2月，他们宣布告别巡回演出并结束Guano Apes组合。
